Wholesale buyers trust that they can always buy with confidence on the United States Wholesale marketplace. Products offered for sale must comply with all laws and regulations and with our Terms of Use. The sale of illegal, unsafe, or other restricted products listed on this page is strictly prohibited.
If you supply goods on the United States Wholesale marketplace, you should carefully review this Restricted Products page before listing a product. The examples provided on this page are not all-inclusive and are provided solely as an informational guide.
Restricted products
All non-physical products is strictly prohibited
Products that are located outside of the United States.
Sales or listings of products that are located outside of the United States on the United States Wholesale Marketplace are strictly prohibited and are subject to funds being withheld and permanent Vendor account suspension.
Intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement
Sales, distribution, or access to counterfeit music, movies, software, or other licensed materials without the appropriate authorization from the rights holder; any product or service that directly infringes or facilitates infringement upon the trademark, patent, copyright, trade secrets, or proprietary or privacy rights of any third party; use of United States Wholesale intellectual property without prior written consent from United States Wholesale; use of the United States Wholesale name or logo including use of United States Wholesale trade or service marks inconsistent with the United States Wholesale Marks Usage Agreement, or in a manner that otherwise harms United States Wholesale or the United States Wholesale brand; any action that implies an untrue endorsement by or affiliation with United States Wholesale.
Counterfeit or unauthorized goods
Counterfeit goods; unauthorized sale or resale of brand name or designer products or services; sale of goods or services that are illegally imported or exported.
Gambling
Lotteries; bidding fee auctions; sports forecasting or odds making for a monetary or material prize; internet gaming; contests; sweepstakes; games of chance including legal or illegal forms of gambling, sweepstakes and contests with a buy-in or cash prize; charity sweepstakes and raffles for the explicit purpose of fundraising.
Certain regulated and illegal products or services
Cannabis dispensaries and related businesses; sale of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and e-liquid; online pharmacies; prescription-only products including card-not-present pharmaceuticals; peptides and research chemicals; fake references or ID-providing services; weapons and munitions; gunpowder and other explosives; fireworks and related goods; toxic, flammable, and radioactive materials; goods or services, the sale of which is illegal under applicable law in the jurisdictions to which your business is targeted or directed.
Regulated or illegal products or services
Cannabis dispensaries and related businesses; sale of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and e-liquid; online pharmacies; prescription-only products including card-not-present pharmaceuticals; peptides and research chemicals; fake references or ID-providing services; age restricted goods or services; weapons and munitions; gunpowder and other explosives; fireworks and related goods; toxic, flammable, and radioactive materials; products and services with varying legal status on a state-by-state basis; goods or services, the sale of which is illegal under applicable law in the jurisdictions to which your business is targeted or directed
Adult content
Sales or listings of products containing pornography, obscene materials, and sexually oriented items such as adult toys and products that prominently feature symbols associated with satanism or other occult practices, such as pentagrams or inverted crosses.
Drug paraphernalia
Any equipment designed for making or using drugs, such as bongs, vaporizers, and hookahs
Certain high risk businesses
Prepaid phone cards, offering substantial rebates or special incentives as an inducement to purchase products or services; telecommunications manipulation equipment; extended warranties; credit card and identity theft protection; any businesses that we believe poses elevated financial risk, legal liability, or violates bank policies; any business or organization that a. engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property, or b. engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence toward any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic
Pseudo pharmaceuticals
Nutraceuticals, pseudo-pharmaceuticals and other products that make health claims that have not been approved or verified by the applicable local and/or national regulatory body
Social media activity
Sale of Twitter followers, Facebook likes, YouTube views, and other forms of social media activity and online traffic
Substances designed to mimic illegal drugs
Sale of a legal substance that provides the same effect as an illegal drug (e.g., salvia, kratom)
Video game or virtual world credits
Sale of in-game currency
If you supply a product in violation of the law or any of United States Wholesale’s policies, including those listed on this Restricted Products page, we will take corrective actions, as appropriate, including but not limited to immediately suspending or terminating selling privileges without reimbursement, terminating the business relationship, and permanent withholding of payments. The sale of illegal or unsafe products can also lead to legal action, including civil and criminal penalties.
We are constantly innovating on behalf of both our buyers and vendors by working with third-party experts to improve the ways we detect and prevent illegal and unsafe products from reaching our marketplace. United States Wholesale encourages you to report listings that violate United States Wholesale’s policies or applicable law by Contacting Us or reporting the item in question directly on the product page by clicking the “Report this product” link. We will investigate each report thoroughly and take appropriate action.
